2019 Gumbo Girlz Kickoff event

The Los Angeles (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated met with the parents and students at 54th Street Elementary School for the 2019-2020 kickoff and orientation meeting for the National Trends and Services’ Gumbo Girlz.  The Los Angeles (CA) chapter adopted 54th Street Elementary School, a school in the Los Angeles community, to build literacy through contributions to the school through their libraries and Arts education. This creates lifelong learners.  We are entering our third year partnership with 54th Street Elementary.
